Lake Street School PTO, Inc. Meeting

December 12, 2006

The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m.

It was announced the next meeting will be held in February.

Meeting Minutes: A motion was made to pass the November minutes.

Treasurer’s Report: Paul Gilson reviewed highlights from the previous month. A motion was made to have the book fair profits go towards the playscape.

Principal’s Report: The “Every Smile Counts” program is coming to LSS on December 19^th.

The Best Award student’s names will appear in PAWPRINTS each month.

The Snowflake Fair was enjoyed by students and staff. The committee was thanked for their efforts.

Mrs. Veniscofsky has volunteered to replace Mrs. Barry effective with February’s meeting as a teacher representative. Mrs. Barry was thanked for all her hard work.

Mr. Testa thanked Pam Oliva for her efforts in preparing Pawprints each month.

Bolles Motors: LSS had a successful year and a total of $760 was earned for participation in the program.

Mc Donald’s Night: The event raised $250 which will go towards the playscape.

Scrip Program: A total of $603 was earned from the holiday order.

2007-2008 Calendar: Jennifer distributed and reviewed the calendar noting the changes to start and end dates of school.

Teacher Luncheon: Contributions to the luncheon are still needed and people can call Christa at 649-4495 if they would like to bake something.

Chorus/Band: The program will be held on December 13^th.

Family Fun Night: A committee chair is needed to run the next family fun night. If anyone is interested they can contact Jennifer or Pam.
