Playscape: Julie Marcotte provided a status on the project. The engraved pavers are complete and will be kept in the warehouse until fall installation. The gazebo pad was installed.

Julie reported that we do not have enough money for the initial design due to rising costs (fuel) and pending money we are short $48,000. She presented three options for moving forward:

stop fundraising and redesign with the $28,000 we have in available funds
fundraise for another year using the $28,000 plus new monies
continue to fundraise for several more years to maintain the initial design
In September a decision will be made on how to proceed. Parents will be presented options and have an opportunity to vote at a PTO meeting. Julie will be sending a detailed status to all parents on 6/20/07.

Committee Sign –Ups: Pam Oliva reported a poor response from the volunteer sheet sent home two weeks ago. Lisa Poutre offered to chair the birthday board, Jennifer Werner will chair banking and Marilyn Chew will help with box tops.
