| Absent - Early Dismissal - Tardy |
- Every attempt should be made to confine necessary appointments
to after school, weekends and vacation periods.
- When a parent determines an absence is necessary, parents
are requested to contact school between 7:30a.m. and 8:30a.m. on the
day of the absence by telephoning the school at 870-6088.

| A child who has been absent is required, by law, to present
upon his/her return to school a note which contains the following information: |
- Name of the student
- Date or dates of the absence
- Reason for the absence
- Signature of the parent
|
- Parents are asked not to request that children be excused
early except when an emergency makes early dismissal unavoidable. Such
requests should be made with a written note.
- In the event that time will not allow for written correspondence
a phone call to the office can be made (870-6085).
- The office will accept phone calls for early dismissals
only between 7:30a.m. and 1:30p.m.
|
- When a child is late arriving to school (AFTER 8:07 A.M.) he/she
must report to the office to pick up a late pass before going to class.
- Late arriving students should not be dropped off at the back of the
building. All students arriving late should enter the building through
the main door at the front of the building.
- Parents will be notified by letter when students accumulate a large
number of tardies. (5-10) (11-15)
